Acceptable Use Policy

Authorized use only

• Don’t use LoanRelay with borrower information, loan files, or systems you aren’t authorized to access, or for purposes your employer hasn’t approved.
• Don’t use someone else’s LOS account or credentials, or let others use yours through LoanRelay.
• Don’t install LoanRelay on a computer or account that other people share, unless every person who can reach its data is allowed to see it.

Systems you connect to

• Don’t use LoanRelay to get around, disable, or interfere with the security, access controls, or audit features of an LOS or any other system.
• Don’t use LoanRelay to automate actions that the terms of your LOS or other system prohibit.
• Don’t use LoanRelay to collect data in bulk from systems, beyond the loans you are working on.

Loan integrity and fair lending

• Don’t use LoanRelay to falsify, alter, or misstate loan documents, disclosures, or LOS records, or to help commit mortgage fraud.
• Don’t use LoanRelay to make or support decisions that discriminate unlawfully, including under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and the Fair Housing Act.
• Don’t use LoanRelay in any way that breaks the law.

The software itself

• Don’t copy, modify, or redistribute LoanRelay, or sell, rent, or sublicense it.
• Don’t reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble LoanRelay, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.
• Don’t remove or change copyright or other notices.
• Don’t add malware to LoanRelay or the files it reads, or use it to attack other systems.

Security research

If you find a security problem, please report it privately to prestonbrown835@gmail.com and give us a reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else. Don’t test against systems or data you aren’t authorized to use.

If this policy is broken

We may suspend or end your license to use LoanRelay. Report misuse to prestonbrown835@gmail.com.
